WE KEEP ASKING WHY DO THEY PRESENT NIGERIA AS A DEMOCRATIC STATE?

WE KEEP ASKING WHY DO THEY PRESENT NIGERIA AS A DEMOCRATIC STATE?
By Ikechukwu Onyedika Oruche
 (For Family Writers)

The very incredulous event between unarmed IPOB members and Nigeria navy/police remains evergreen in our memories. An implausible story that brought to view how atrocious a policeman can be in Nigeria. The very wound this event left on IPOB family members has barely healed completely before the governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano gave a direct order to arrest citizens found listening to radio Biafra as well as civilians who has radio Biafra app on their mobile phone, as if that was not enough, the latest developing is to shoot at sight any IPOB family member in Anambra state. This led me to ask, is this act admissible in an ideal democracy, where are our rights, our freedom of association.

We keep asking, why do they present Nigeria as a democratic state why there is nothing democrat about Nigeria, a country where policemen intimidates defenseless civilians with their AK-47. One thing I find astonishing about Nigeria is that at the end of every killing the media will lie about the killing of unarmed people, journalists whose duty is to investigate and report events in sequence in which they occur will collaborated with the police/politicians against innocent helpless unarmed civilians. The gravity of wickedness in Nigeria is beyond our forbearance, unjust killings and massacre by police and navy concord with media lies makes life miserable for Biafrans. We want to remind the world that we has the right to self defense, they killed us first. Although killing is an abominable act in our land but if we are left with no other option than to retaliate, then we must kill to defend our integrity.
