Buhari don't need Igbos we definitely don't mind

The time has come for the Igbo people to look up and see clearly how their interest is really being managed. Why all these noise about 'Buhari snubbing Igbos'? All these crying voices, whose interest are they agitating for? What exactly are they crying for? For personal appointment and contract in the name of Igbos or for the economic and social welfare of the Igbos? Since there is no evidence the latter is the motive, then its irrefutable the former is the case. All the juicy appointments some Igbos have been holding since the inception of this democratic dispensation evidently had no significant effect on the structural economic development in the south east. There is no question about many Igbos having held high profile positions in the past governments but we have never heard loud crying voices asking why southeast don't have direct sea and air contact with the international community or have six states like the rest of geopolitical zones? It has never been in the news that one of those that benefited from these juicy appointments and contracts in the name of Igbos resigned or even threatened to denounce the government in protest against lopsided economic structure that stifles the south east's economic advancement. But record has shown; most of those who cried until they got their share of government appointments in the previous administrations ended up been accused of illicitly amassing large amount of money, and all, for themselves. While they were doing this no one heard their cry of Igbo’s marginalisation, now the time of new appointments and contracts is here, the same people have started crying again. As soon as they are noticed and contracted as 'stogie’s' their whirling stops, then Igbo nation will revert to defeated people and continue their self-struggle while our self-made representatives continue serving their cronies in return for personal tips in the name of Igbo’s quota.

Its not a hidden fact that the economic structure of Nigeria exploits the Igbos. The system is intellectually structured so to control the whole country's economic activities from the west and north as a bounty for winning the war and as a precautionary measure to keep the vanquished in check so to never allow it grow wings again. It is the outsiders who claim to civilize us; those who offered unlimited support to Nigerian army during the war that owns this brain, the real beneficiary of it all. The group that is smart enough to ask questions is technically kept subdued While keeping the rest 'O Yes!' tribes satisfied with crumbs from the looted natural resources and the joy of having control over the economic fate of the group whom they naturally consider as a fierce rival with the potential of turning all the tables under fair competitive atmosphere. Now the Igbos have majority of their material wealth in the north and west, when they are threatened, they cowed, so not to lose everything they've worked for years in a moment. Which is what the system is invented for; as the extension of the war against the Igbos. Why haven't all those voices crying for Buhari's attention cry to the world and bring their attention to the plight of the Igbo people in the hands of the Nigerian government and their foreign advisers. As a matter of fact, there is the chance that most of those Igbos that are clamouring for Buhari's favour now never voted for him during the election; it is this attitude of reaping where they did not sow that is making them stake the fate of the whole Igbo tribe for a plate of porridge. If Buhari do not want Igbos in his cabinet Igbos can as well carry on with their lives without being part of his government. Let those crying poppies henceforth cry to Buhari for the sake of their own personal interest and never again shed crocodile tears in the name of securing Igbo's quota in the federation; we don't need crumbs, we want either full meal or nothing. Let those Igbos who have been amassing personal treasure in the naming of representing the Igbos understand that there are new breed of Igbos who are keenly watching; who will first destroy the saboteurs before destroying the enemy. If Buhari don't need Igbos, we definitely don't mind.
